The ETHOS 1^st Annual Consortium Meeting was held in Coimbra, Portugal hosted by CES. During the 2 day conference a series of Plenaries, Keynotes and Work Package sessions took place.

A series of public lectures were given by Trudie Knijn, Boaventura de Sousa Santos, Matteo Jessoula, Frank Vandenbroucke and Jo Wolff.
